It also completely busts the myth that mocktails have to either be boring or super complicated. The mango, mint, and lime flavors are so enticing while still capturing the essence of a classic mojito. And all you have to do is blend, top with sparkling water, and garnish to your heart’s content. Once you see how to make a mango mojito cocktail, you’ll be whipping them up constantly!

As I’m in my third trimester of pregnancy, I’m really enjoying creating special drinks to enjoy with friends that come over. Having something a little sweet and a little spicy is the perfect blend for my cravings!

I love the balance of sweet, fresh mint and zippy lime you get from a good mojito. And adding a sweet element with the mango really makes this drink sing! 

This mango mojito mocktail recipe combines the vibrant flavors of mango, fresh mint leaves, and zesty lime juice with just a touch of jalapeño heat. It’s so fresh and bright, I can’t get enough!

By blending the ingredients with water, we create a luscious base for our mocktail. It has this wonderful viscosity so the whole drink has a great mouth feel. 

I just love the tropical sweetness of the mango with the coolness of the mint and the tanginess of the lime. And the addition of the jalapeño provides a subtle kick that adds depth and intrigue to each sip. Top with sparkling water in place of alcohol to add that delightful bit of effervescence!

Variations for Your Spicy Mango Mocktail

This drink is completely customizable, and there are so many different twists to try. Let your creativity run wild  until you find your perfect patio sipper!

If you’re not a fan of spice, feel free to omit the jalapeño. You could also reduce the amount or just throw a few slices into your finished mocktail if you’re looking for the flavor without the heat.

Personally, I don’t strain the mixture after blending because I like the flecks of mint. However, you could easily blend the base without the mint and then add fresh leaves to your drink if you’d prefer.

Finally, I love experimenting with different garnishes. A wedge of frozen mango, an additional jalapeño slice, or even a salt rim. Do whatever feels good to you!

Simply blend all the ingredients, transfer the mixture to an airtight container, and keep it chilled in the fridge until it’s time to enjoy. When you’re ready to serve, pour the mix into a glass, add sparkling water, and garnish with a mango wedge and fresh mint leaves for a delightful presentation.

Ingredients

Scale

2 mangos, peeled and pitted
1 jalapeno, roughly chopped
¼ cup fresh mint leaves
the juice of 1 lime
2 cups of water
Sparkling water


Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except the sparkling water to the blender.
  2. Puree until you have a smooth mixer.
  3. Divide into 6 glasses and top each with sparkling water.
  4. Garnish with a slice of lime and fresh mint.
