Florida Girl Mocktail

It’s mocktail mania in our house, we try to come up with the best mocktail recipes, and we have to add this to the list!

The Florida Girl Mocktail is packed full of citrus, with a festive hint of strawberries, which Florida happens to grow the most delicious strawberries each spring! I love the balance of sweet, tart, a little salty, and a lot fresh.

Here’s a list of tools you will need to make this mocktail;
* A small bowl or plate for the rim salt
* beverage cups
* A sharp knife
* Cutting Board

*Blood Orange Orange Juice
* Sparkling Water
* Dehydrated Strawberries
* Salt
* Lime
* Grapefruit

Description

Sweet & Citrusy, with a splash of sparkling water. This summery mocktail is refreshing and perfect to beat the heat!


Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup blood orange juice
1 can of sparkling water
2 slices of grapefruit
2 slices of lime
2 T dehydrated strawberries, pulsed into a fine powder
1 T of salt
ice


Instructions

In a small dish, mix strawberry powder and salt for the rim garnish. Swipe one of the lime wedges over a glass, and dip in the strawberry salt mixture. Fill glass with ice, and slices of lime and grapefruit. Divide the juice and the sparkling water evenly between the two glasses, and enjoy!
