Cold Winter? Snow Problem!

I’m bundling up at home on this wintery Friday night. Cleveland got a cold snowy front last night, and it made me think about all of the fun things I got to do this winter.

2017-2018 brought some huge changes to my life, but brought lots of friends, new experiences, and fun events! I got to explore beautiful parts of Ohio, new career opportunities, and lots of fun things in my own city!

Partnering with Adventure Subaru in 2017 helped me get to new places and find adventure in these cold months. This blog is done in partnership with Adventure Subaru, & all opinions and experiences are my own.

Hocking Hills//

My best friends from high school, Audrey & Kayla, booked a girls trip in hocking hills for a long weekend get away! We packed the “sub-blue-ru” with snacks, their precious pups, and hiking boots to make the most of our getaway. We had a blast in the woods.

Toledo//

After our weekend away, I got a call from a company in Toledo requesting me for a food styling job. If you know anything about me, the way food looks on a plate is everything to me, so this was a dream opportunity!

I packed up the car with all my favorite kitchen equipment and headed for Toledo. After the week had passed, I left with brand new friends and some amazing food experiences. I cant wait to go back for another job this week!

Cleveland//

I got the chance to host a private event with my favorite yoga studio downtown, Yoga Strong & Barre Fly. We partnered up with a charcuterie team, our favorite kombucha, and got to holiday destress with 30 beautiful women! One of my favorite nights for sure!

Christmas in New Philadelphia //

My parents live in Florida, and with my holiday private event schedule, I wasnt able to make it to them for Christmas. Luckily, I’m still close to my hometown and very close to my Best friend Audrey, and her parents and in-laws. I totally crashed their Christmas and loved every minute of it. The best part? We had a very white Christmas and got to sled and take the Subaru off roading. We packed sleds, the dogs, Fred (Audrey’s brother, and his wife Christina, Audrey and her husband Kyle, and my self into mismatched snow suits, and went out for the afternoon. We had a blast.

I can honestly say I’m ready for warmer weather and sunny days, but can’t imagine making better memories this past winter! A huge thanks to my friends, family, Adventure Subaru, and CLE for bringing so much fun to these cold days! Now, bring on summer and the kayaks!

If you’re in the Cleveland Area, Adventure Subaru is always hosting fun events that support local charities & non-profits. In partnership with “Subaru loves Pets”, on March 10th from 12-3pm, you can go find a forever home for a sweet animal from rescue village. Check it out here!

As always, thanks for hanging out friends! Catch ya next time!
