Healthy Holiday Peppermint Mocha

Happy Black Friday! Are you one of those “shop-till-ya-drop” celebrators, or do you wait for all of the online deals on Cyber Monday!? I have to say I’m the second. Crowded malls make me grumpy, and make me crave sugary coffee’s for survival, so if thats you too, I have JUST the healthy swap for you!


Last month I did a healthy take on a PSL, so why not carry on the tradition of healthy coffee swaps, and bring in a Holiday Peppermint Mocha.

Healthy Holiday Peppermint Mocha

24 oz cold brew, or cold coffee.
1 cup ice.
4 oz unsweetened nut milk, I used cashew.
2 scoops chocolate protein powder.
1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract.



1. Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
2. Pour over ice, or warm up, either way will be delicious.
3. Garnish if you feel fancy, I used cocoa powder and fresh mint. Enjoy!

I often get asked how I get my coffee so frothy, and the answer is 2 parts. Usually the collagen I use helps, but it’s all in the blender!
I use the Black Stainless A3500 Vitamix which is hands down my favorite tool in my kitchen! Also, #hottip, it’s $100 off for Black Friday! So, I usually combine everything in the blender on a lower speed, like 2-3, and before pouring, I crank the speed to 10, and let the coffee get frothy and voluminous. I hope those tips help!
